What’s shakin’ ?

I’m g oing to a concert later this evening with Mrs. addiction, but will probably be parked here for at least another couple hours while she grabs the kiddos, gets our daughter to soccer pictures, and then drops them off with our babysitter before heading back downtown.

Work is at a crossroads (picked this song before I wrote that...) - management is trying to decide whether to stick with our current backer or start new with another company. Hopefully they sort it out in such a way that supplies me gainful employment for another several years!

Family is all good, #blessed and all that. Get to see a lot of my side of the family over the next couple weeks for a niece’s graduation and a nephew’s wedding, then taking a much needed just-the-two-of-us trip to Colorado for a long weekend.

Just sittin’ at work waiting for the end of the day so that I can start patching shit. I do it once a month and it’s not too bad but Windows Server 2016 takes forever to install updates and restart so I’m always waiting on those boxes and/or VMs .

Not that late, we’re a small company so there aren’t that many servers or appliances . We kick everybody out of the system at 5:30 and I should be out of here by 7:00. Knock wood.

Waiting on a baby! My wife is at 38 weeks, and will have the baby between now and next Thursday. Life is gonna change soon (again- it’s our second)

Everything expect 1 jam nut cooperated :/ i guess you can’t have it all. I did change the end tho

Couple of thoughts:

The Vette is a pita to put on jack stands, it doesn’t have a frame rail per se to lift it up and you have to get to the cross member.

The wheels/tires are much lighter than I expected.

Tie rod to wheel knuckle has a torque+angle sequence which is the 1st time I’ve ever had to do that.

The Vette has tie rods on the back as well, I'll do them tomorrow.

Oh, there are plenty of short hikes around there as well. Everything from 1 mile to half day and more, this guy’s review is just for the 28 mile loop that takes 4 days. Lots of good pictures too.
